Last Wednesday the 30th, Bran Nu Classix went to check out the Benny Negro & Frankie Bonez Show uptown at Manny's Sports Bar and Restaurant. The whole vibe was real cool. Everyone came to chill, network and hear new music from up and coming artists. The drinks were official too, shouts to the bar...! A lot of Hip Hop notables were in the spot that evening as well, probably more than we can name, but here's who we saw; Star (from the Star & Buckwild radio Show), DJ Crazy Ed, Benny Negro, Frankie Bonez, Dylan (Making the Band) Maria Davis, and probably a few more. Bran Nu Classix riped yet another venue last night, Club Element in PA. The vibe and energy was positive. People showed love for Bran Nu Classix all night. We opened the show, HANK TATE did the damn thing, and Undivided Attention brought it home. Good music, cheap drinks, and an amped up crowd. We all plan to link up and work together again. Last Wednesday Jean Grey and 9th Wonder had a show at Fat Beats over on 6th Avenue. Jean Grey and 9th were there to promote the Jeanius Album...! Evil Dee was spinning, Talib dropped by as well to bless the mic. The vibe was chill and the music was right. Evil D started taking it back. The Eddie Kendricks joints was on point. D spun all them joints from early 90's...flavorful. Had to cut out eventually CAUSE IT WAS HOT AS HELL!!! It was worth the discomfort though to hear some real hip hop!
